Sagemcom F@st 2864™ VDSL Quick Modem Start Guide

Please note: Your VDSL modem will connect online on the day of activation. Also, wireless
option is available BUT NOT SUPPORTED BY XINFLIX. USE AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION.

Getting Started

Please note: Make sure your computer is off before proceeding with hardware installation.

1. Connect the VDSL modem to your computer via the Ethernet connection.

2. Connect the VDSL modem to your phone jack with the supplied phone cord.

3. Connect the power supply to the VDSL modem.

Connect the other end of the power
adapter to the power outlet

4. Connect the filter(s). Only if dry loop is required.

5. Power up computer. Now you may surf the web.



PPPoE Set up

 1. Connect the VDSL Modem to your computer via Ethernet port.

 2. Open any web browser.

 3. Type http://192.168.2.1 in the address bar, then press Enter.

 4. A window requesting a username and password will pop up. Type “admin” for both the press
Enter.

 5. Once you have access to your VDSL modem, navigate to

 Settings > Internet > Internet Connection Settings (PPPoE).

 6. In the username and password field type your full Xinflix username (i.e. aBC123@3web.com)

 and password. (Please refer to last page).

 7. Save settings

 8. Navigate to Settings > Wireless > Primary Wireless Settings.

 9. In the SSID field, replace “BELL” with “you own name”. Please note that the numbers must NOT be

 deleted or replaced (i.e. Xinflix1).



10. Save settings

11. Close web browser
