新公布的一个调查显示
According to a newly released survey

39%辞去办公室工作的雇员辞职的原因
39% of employees who resigned from the office resigned

是遇到恶老板或恶上司
because of a bad boss or a bad manager

也就是说每5个辞职的公司白领中
That is to say, two out of every five white-collar companies

就有2个不是不喜欢公司
who resigned did not dislike the company

而是受不了老板
but could not stand the boss.

上述调查是人力资源公司Robert Half
The survey was conducted by human resources company Robert Half

出资聘用独立市场调查公司Maru/Blue
who hired an independent market research firm, Maru/Blue

今年4月份在网上进行的

参加调查的受访对象是随机选择的
by randomly selected 400 full-time

4百名在加拿大公司工作的
or part-time office employees

全职或非全职的办公室雇员
working in Canadian companies.

Mike Shekhtman对上述调查结果并不感到吃惊
was not surprised by the results of the survey

因为这个调查结果印证了
because the findings confirm the old saying

人力资源部门的一句老话
of the human resources department

这就是员工抛弃的不是公司而是老板
that is, employees are not leaving the company but the boss

再加上现在加拿大失业率处于5.7%的低位
plus the current unemployment rate in Canada are at a low of 5.7%,

员工辞职后比较容易找到下一份工作
it is easier to find the next job after the employee resigns.

当然 好的管理者不是朋友
of course, good managers are not friends

仍然需要对员工进行指点和教育
still need to give pointers and education to employees
